We offer lessons tailored for kids and adults of all ages and abilities, and are committed to helping everyone in our community develop the skills they need to become strong, confident swimmers.

Preschool Lessons

WATER DISCOVERY (STAGE A PARENT/CHILD)

Introduces infants and toddlers (6 months up to 3-years-old) to the water while providing interaction between parent and child. One adult must accompany child in the water.

WATER EXPLORATION (STAGE B PARENT/CHILD)

One parent works with their children (1 year up to 3-years-old) to explore body positions, blowing bubbles, and fundamental safety and aquatic skills.

PRESCHOOL WATER ACCLIMATION (PIKE/3 YEARS TO 5 YEARS OLD)

Entering and exiting pool, putting ears and face in water by self, back floating with help, and swimming and jumping with bubble with help .

PRESCHOOL WATER MOVEMENT (EELS/3 YEARS TO 5 YEARS OLD)

Jumping, big arms, floating, face in for 3 seconds, getting horizontal and deflating bubble.

PROGRESSIVE SWIM LESSONS

STUDENTS—6 to 12 years of age
Components of these classes are personal safety, stroke development, water sports and games, personal growth and basic rescue. Parents may watch the first/last five minutes of class.

WATER ACCLIMATION (POLLIWOG):

Comfortable with water, flutter kick on front and back, bobbing, rhythmic breathing, and paddle strok

Kicking on front and back with board, rhythmic breathing, treading water, diving, and back stroke.

private, Home school and special population lessons

Individual Private Lessons & Semi Private Lessons

Need some one on one time with an instructor? Then private or semi-private lessons are a great option. Lessons are scheduled based on availability of an instructor and appropriate pool time.  Private lessons are sold in blocks of five, 30 minute lessons. Only one block of lessons may be purchased at a time.

Homeschool Swim and Gym – Ages 4 – 17 years

The Swim & Gym program is designed to help K-12 homeschool students learn the importance of healthy living through sports and aquatics activities. This 7-week session follows a comprehensive curriculum that includes instruction in sports, gym games and pool activities. It’s a great program to meet new friends, create long lasting relationships and learn about the importance of healthy living.

Special Needs Population Swim Lessons

People with a physical or mental disability may come and play with others in our small pool during our open swim time designated just for them, Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm. Structured swim lessons are also available during this time for a fee.  Our pool has 4 steps to get in and out of the water, and a pool lift. Handicap dressing rooms are available in our Family Locker Room.
